I made one pizza according to package directions (it makes 2 large crusts) and with the left over dough I made some pizza rolls for the kids and a calzone for my husband. You can roll this out with ease, fill it, seal it etc. The kids loved the pizza rolls, my husband raved over the crispiness of the crust on his calzone and my pizza was perfect. Includes the yeast packet and xanthan gum. Requires egg, oil, water, cider vinegar, and sugar (which is optional). I have literally tried everything out there, and this is hands down the best, easiest way to have delicious gluten free pizza. I usually mix mine in the food processor, instead of the stand mixer, and you get a very soft dough. I have been gently rolling it out on a greased cookie sheet and then flipping it onto a pre-heated pizza stone. That way the crust browns nicely and totally looks like regular pizza. Each bag makes 2 thin crust pizzas, which perfectly feeds myself and my 4 kids (8 & under) with a bit left over for lunch the next day.I am so grateful to be able to eat pizza again--it is one of the things I missed terribly after going gluten free. Try this crust, you will not be disappointed. |
