These mixes are nice to have on hand quite easy to make I like to add a little vanilla to the basic mix to intensify the flavor a bit.
It is easy to add other ingredients such as poppy seeds or dried fruit to make flavored pound cakes. This mix is not overly sweet and cakes come out a bit dryer than some. All in all, it makes a pretty decent basic cake

I give this product 5 starts, but not for eating it as a cereal. I think that eating it plain/with milk is a little rough: as a cereal, I'd give it 2 stars. However, I LOVE using this stuff in yogurt (any flavor)--it adds more of a crunch than granola does--and it's also fantastic when you put it on top of fruit (espeically strawberries and melons like canteloupe...not so much watermelon). I really like the Ezekiel 4:9 with almonds best!

And as an FYI, 22 bucks for 6 boxes is a great deal. The cereal usually runs about $5-6 a box in-store.

This is literally the best cereal in my entire life that I have ever eaten. It's a perfect supplement to a whole foods vegan diet. at 16g of protein per cup, packed with fiber, minerals, and vitamins, you cannot go wrong with this cereal. This texture and taste are not for everyone, but for those who like hearty, multi grain, sugar free types of food, this is the cereal for you!

I love this product! For those that find the taste bland, but are eating this for fiber, here is my suggestion: Mix small amounts (less than 1/4 cup) of each of the following in a bowl: this cereal, Fiber One cereal, Wheat and Bran Shredded Wheat cereal, raw almonds, raw walnuts, and raw pecans. Pour on your favorite soy milk. It tastes great! I eat this every morning. No more trouble with getting my daily fiber intake!

In an effort to save during hard times, we decided to turn our once-a-week outing with our daughter and her family into a cereal supper at her house. During home school lessons, her elementary age children have learned to read labels, and they are set free at the grocery store to choose their own cereals and other products. I found this particular cereal one day while shopping and called to make sure it fit into all the required guidelines. My two grandsons and I eat almost a box of this by ourselves on Cereal Supper Night! My daughter enjoys the Pumpkin Seed flavor best, and I routinely contribute other organic cereals. As soon as we drive up on Wednesdays, I am greeted with enthusiastic greetings and cries of inquiry, "What did you bring this week, Gran?" Three days ago, my eight year old granddaughter told her neighbor that Wednesdays were her favorite day of the week. I highly recommend this cereal no matter what your age may be!

If you like a solid, sweet granola this is your boy. It does have a strong vanilla taste which I found very pleasant but not too over powering. The nutritional values aren't too bad, but high in sugar, as you would expect from most granolas. In summary, if you like almonds and vanilla I think you will love munching down a bowl of this stuff.
